Is it not written; "right to life"?

"Freedom of expression"?

"Right to dignity of human person"?

If it so be,

Why kill at the toll?

Why dare red the white ?

Do you not sing; the labour of our

Heroes never in vain be?

To serve with heart and might...

In freedom, peace, and unity?

In peace, they went.

In return, blood shed!

Freedom, they sought, 

oppression, they got. 

Justice, Alas! Tyranny!

Okoye Frances Chiamaka who prefers to be referred to as Ama Emmy was born on 24th February, 2002. A native of Awo- Idemili, Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State Nigeria. She is currently studying French Education at Alvan Ikoku Federal college of education (in affiliation with University of Nigeria Nusska).
