A Fortunate Accident
Like a leaf, dancing with the gentle tide of a warm river,
Surrendering to the embrace of a sun filled afternoon,
Finding peace in the hush of a shared heartbeat.
Perhaps it waits in the quiet folds of time,
As dawn paints the sky in shades of crimson and gold,
Admist the city's clamour of footsteps and laughter,
Or beneath the vast tapestry of the night sky.
If this fortunate accident graces my path,
I shall plunge into it's depths unguarded, unafraid,
Yielding to the melody of a gentle tide,
Letting its warmth envelope me body and soul.
