Cheers!
kran! kran! kran!
The echoes of our glass cups
Louder than our pitchy voices
O ye friends that stays
This toast is to those leaving with the year
Are your eyes a bucket of tears?
Have no fear for departure
Time's a traveler anyway
A kìí sọ̀rẹ́ èrò káyọ̀
Accept this truth undoubtedly
Your legs are outsizing your favourite shoe
Get new shoes, make new plans
Start a new year with fresh love
The dumps of December's snow
Will soon pave way for early springs
Though the garden is so gay
This journey beget scraggy rocks
Let the taste of our fine wine
Dance on your berry tongue
Kiss these memories goodbye
Let the fun remove the stains of tears
From my and your dear face
Look!
It is twelve strikes O'clock
The train is about to depart
Away! Thou store all the pains
In December's backpack
Now toss it to miss of year's end
Cheers! To starting a new year.
