Do these 3 things for a fun-filled Christmas
I know that Christmas is just around the corner, literally everyone is buying stuffs, getting new clothes, making plans for vacation this period and all that.
The pressure is making you feel left out especially when you don't have the financial capability to do that.
So, I have written down these few tips to make your Christmas enjoyable with no pressure.
1. Celebrate within means: come on guys there is no need to go all out especially when you don't have resources. There is no guideline or compulsory order that you must eat fried rice and chicken (though if you have, it is good) you must not necessarily wear new clothes (there are tons of old clothes which do just fine in your wardrobe) Just make do with what you have. Like Nigerians will say "don't come and kill yourself" especially with debts or loan. Ask yourself "after Christmas, what next?"
2. Spend time with loved ones: there is no excuse for "I'm busy with work or any activity" for the next few days. Actively spend time with your family and loved ones. It will help to build those bonds that seem to have been broken, it will also help you connect more with those around you.
3. Do what you love: This is a great opportunity to finally see that movie, read that book you've wanted to but couldn't because of time constraint. Use the opportunity to relax, and unwind. After this festive season you will go back to that job, or studies that take your time. Why not use these days to unwind and recharge?
On a side note, Christ birth is a reminder that there will be a birth of all the things you've always hoped, and wished for. You shouldn't lose hope now.
Advanced Merry Christmas.
