Commuters
Angry Commuters
I had barely stayed two weeks in America
When I witnessed the most amusing occurrence
Two drivers facing each other at a street bend
No one ready to move for the other
The ranting of blame began
And the blasting of horn rang
Both men unwilling to eat the humble pie
Three hours had gone and no one cared for time
The first man stepped out to continue on foot
The other join a friend's ride and remained mute
They both left their vehicles for another route
Unafraid and yet proud about being rude
I laughed in Spanish at their naivety
Good security is the reason for this foolishness
Do this in Nigeria and you'd earn a beating in and out
Leave your car and you'll know what free purchase means
Lesson: DON'T ALWAYS TRY TO PROVE YOU'RE RIGHT
Hmm.
