Blooming Bud
BLOOMING BUD
One thing do I cherish—
To breathe words causing all forms of reaction;
A sprinting heart, leaking eyes, lips channelling out the sound of mirth,
And a frozen face;
To mention but a few
The journey undertaken meanders,
Marked with bumps and holes.
My bones groan and my eyes bleed,
From holding on to a future seemingly bleak,
A future birthed by wavering support and
doubt
Thanks, however, to Serendipity
For she alone widens my vision to the things previously unseen,
For by her, I learn;
For by her, I realise every step taken is a win.
I am a work in progress,
Though long, the process
I've been rid of my ore,
Set and ready to live my dreams.
