WHEN THE WORLD IS SOFTER

When the world is softer
At the beach as we eat our lobster

The problems that stagger us we forget
And pretend like new lovers with no regret

Let's jump into the heart of water to feel
As our tiny bodies cause it to reel

Showing life we are scared not of her browbeating
The birds are singing we are dancing

Let's cheat on life with this beautiful vesper and the night
Morning comes with reality that will hit us like a giant strobe light
