Wintry Scenes
Feel the frost on your window panes,
Stare at the trees as they begin to crackle

With the autumn wave finally fading off,
And the birds chirping gladly in the grey skies,
Embrace the warmth and the frost alike,
While relishing in the beauty set before your eyes.
Gladly put your house in place,
As you feel the winter coming on,
It's time for broken roofs to be fixed,
And for the thermostat to be turned on.
Feel the frost on your window panes,
Stare at the trees as they begin to crackle,
Clean thoroughly your fireplaces —
Ensuring that the flames are set to burn and sparkle.
Anticipate the frosty wave on winter's Eve,
Whilst staring at the snapping leaves from your window blinds,
Bring out your maps and plan your winter journey,
And ensure that no one is left behind.
Enjoy the motion of the snowy owls,
Drive to the sea to see the dazzling puffins,
They do know that it's time once more,
As they gather as they always have done before.
Feel the gentle frost on your face,
While steadily making a snowball litter,
For it's the most beautiful time of the year,
Cheers to the cloud as they usher in winter.
