HOW TO GET RID OF ACNE AND PIMPLES: 4 QUICK NATURAL REMEDIES

When you look in the mirror to check out your gorgeous or chic outfit in the morning of a very important outing and you like what you see, the confidence that stems from your appearance quickly extends to the rest of your being. But, a big, red, ugly pimple marring your almost perfect look can be a total buzz kill. And since popping the said pimple is not the best option because it can leave an ugly looking scar on the area, here are 4 natural ways to treat pimples otherwise known as acne from the comfort of your home:

Aloe vera and garlic paste

Aloe vera has a lot of antioxidant properties and when these are combined with Allicin, an anti-bacterial compound found in garlic, the result is a good detox mask that fastens healing and cures pimples.

Directions:

Cut an aloe vera leaf.

Slide a knife under its skin to get only the flesh.

Cut the flesh into pieces and blend until it is smooth.

Crush two cloves of peeled garlic to form a paste.

Add 1 teaspoon from your fresh aloe vera paste and mix everything thoroughly.

Apply the mixture to the affected area, leave it for 30 minutes, wash off with warm water and watch the magic happen.

Banana to the rescue!

What do you do with a banana peel after you’ve eaten the banana? Throw it away? Well, that’s a waste because bananas are rich in potassium, vitamins and a lot of other minerals which are stored in the peel. These nutrients can strengthen the barrier of your skin, and protect it from some damages and breakouts.

Directions:

Cut out a portion of the banana peel, rub the inner white side on your skin and wash it off after 10 minutes. Repeat this procedure a few times and kiss pimples goodbye! Ok, that’s disgusting.

Use baking soda

Baking soda isn’t just for baking, it also has some superpowers. It can erase oily residues, balance the pH level of your skin and reduce the risk of irritation.

Directions:

Create a paste from baking soda and water, rub the mixture gently on your pimple, leave for 10 minutes and wash it away thoroughly.

Ice

Ice? Yes, Ice. It’s surprising, right? But it works effectively.

Directions:

Place an ice cube directly on your pimple and leave it there for about three minutes.

Repeat this action a few times and your pimple will be gone in no time.
