3 Tips to Step-up Your Writing
Writing, for ages has been a vital part of human communication, preservation of history and ideas (Even after the death of the conceiver) and literacy, with no aspect of human facets untouched by its influence.
In any way you approach writing, either as a hobby or a career, it requires a lot of factors to keep you constantly on top of the game.
Below are THREE out of the basic tips:
1. As a great writer, you must commit yourself to lots of reading. Man has never been an island of knowledge, thus the need to read other people’s works to get inspirations, to study the effectiveness in other people’s craft which you can imbibe to improve yours and stay up to date in the ever evolving world of writing.
2. Jot down ideas in a notepad. An adage says, “A faintest pen is better than a sharpest memory. “
It is therefore suffice to say, jotting down helps you remember random thoughts and ideas. Even better than typing them in a device. So, always have a notepad and a pen around you.
3. Start some habits that continually keep you on your toes i.e. regular schedule for writing, research and studying. Learn how to self-edit: know the basics of syntax and grammar and also, review your works at least four times before publishing.
