Living Deity

You are a living deity,

Lines upon lines falling into place

We lay the foundation of all morrows,

Day by day,

We move forward unto the dreams of our forefathers,

Precepts upon precepts,

We build a future we can afford through the wings of hope.

Struggles to be conquered,

Life to be lived like gods,

Hope to be preserved like the oak tree,

Love to be found with faithful hope.

And so, we count the stars- our stars,

Year after year.
