Letter To My Sons
Rules can be bent and twisted over the same
tables they were laid; I would not give you
rules, I won't. For Advice can be thrown out
From the very ears it entered;
I shall not advise you,
but I will
Unveil to you— secrets from the
Pot of life and wisdom.
Be a hunter.
Be The one whose head sees beyond his eyes.
Be The one who knows which animal to hunt and leave, Be the one
Who knows the best time to hunt.
You will hunt down fame, Wealth and
The name, but only you know the best time.
Be a scavenger.
Not The one who entertains
garbage but who scavenges for worthy luggage.
The one who knows what to hug and kiss,
Who knows when to spit unto its very own eyes.
You will scavenge for qualities— the ones that
Makes a male an alpha.
Be a gardener.
Not one who tramples,
But one who knows when to water,
When , where and how to prune, one who
Knows the blossoming time. You will garden
Your life & that of your mother & that of your wife & that of your sister.
You will garden feminine influence in your
life, for from their flowers may thorns grow.
