The Days

Sometimes you feel like you tried

Other times it just feels dry

It's ok to fail

it is part of the story as we sail

The days of being down are here

The time of being misunderstood yet fair

The time of giving your best

And realizing it is still not first

During these days you must hold on to hope

To God and faith without cutting soap

To truth that time changes and good days

Are coming to clear this dark sky and haze

A chapter should not make a book

An experience of failure should not define you.
