Love is a Twist: Her last letter

Now all that is left of me is a broken heart and a letter from her telling me she has moved on. After reading the first line stating 'I have moved on Handsome', the first thing that came to my mind was the night we spoke about her company's new branch. She explained to me that she would have to move out of the Country.

On that fateful day, with a big smile on my face, I popped a bottle of champagne in her honour and took a sip of the wine as I continued reading her letter. 'This might be hard for you but I know you are a strong man.' I yelled yes baby Mr. Handsome got all the muscles from the gym across the street. I told Siri to get me my girlfriend's playlist. The playlist are set of songs that we always listen to during our intimate times. So I took my wine glass in my right hand, held the letter in my left and danced from the kitchen cabinet to the couch where we have made a lot of memories together.

This lady knows how to make me happy at all times. 'Sugar Baby, I love you too' I said to the pillow with the imagination that it was her. Her letters are always full of joy, tales of how she loves me and how she knows that I love her too. There were no warning signs or maybe I just chose not to see them.

The next line was the line that broke me into bits. 'I left you the invitation to my wedding on your bed with the gift I promised you, I would be getting married to Okon'. The wine glass slipped off my hands as tears rolled down my eyes. I didn't expect her to break up with me. We spoke yesterday and her last words to me were 'Remember that I always love you and I will not hurt you'. Maybe I made a mistake, or should I have said something when I noticed she was drawing back? I just ignored the signs.

The story has just begun. Watch out for the next episode
