Rise!

Hey you! yes you. Have you been utilizing the lockdown? how many productive activities have you engaged in since the beginning of the lockdown? Or, have you just been whiling away time on unprofitable activities? If you have, I think it's time for a change.

We're not only at a disadvantage this season but also at an advantage . It would only take you to see what good can come out of the lockdown. There are so many ways you can make yourself productive. You can take online courses to equip yourself with new skills or build on the ones you already have. You can also discover a new need in your neighborhood and try to meet it. Some thriving neighbourhood businesses this period are POS and neighbourhood gas station services. Who knows, yours might join their league.

If these methods don't appeal to you, there are online sites like fiverr.com where you can exchange your skills for money. With the internet at your disposal and the huge market you have on social media platforms, I don't see how you can go wrong. Of course, there are many other activities you can engage in, you just just have to stop being a couch potato and start something.

Senator Babafemi Ojudu, the special adviser to the President on political matters anchored a one-day webinar titled Monetizing your Knowledge. The webinar was organized by the class of SUI GENERIS from the department of Management and Accounting, Obafemi Awolowo University.
In the webinar, he gave insights on how one can monetize their knowledge and used his personal experiences to buttress his points. You'll be able to get a clearer picture of most of the things discussed here when you go through the webinar.

You can check it out here on this blog, it'll go a long way in giving you the push you need to start something. Don't sit at home all day and complain that there's nothing to do, there's always something to do.
