LIKE ROSES, LIKE THORNS
Life loves…
With each leaf dancing to the mastery of the wind,
With each heartache and tear-stained cheek,
I still envision small holding big.
Not that I was big enough to be called big.
I sold a part of my life for love,
I sold a part of my love to live.
With each sand falling off my feet,
With each water dripping down my skin,
I still wanted movies and popcorns
With my rather too loving eyes burning your skin.
Coffins with such size shouldn’t exist.
We don’t get to die young.
We all deserve to be named.
Jahil, life loves…
…like roses do thorns.
