Between Us
The account of a broken man
I wanted a girl that would crack me up
Make me laugh till I fall off the sofa
That's what Yemisi looked like at first
This fun to be with person by nature
I hesitated making commitments
But everyday my feelings grew
And my fear blew
of a future without you
So, we exchanged the ring
And we walked down the aisle
That's when our troubles began to pile
I became confused and couldn't think
We journeyed through the haziness gate
And fought away from argument window
Our foundation was dug on lies
Our pretense generator suddenly ran out of fuel
I was not this kind dude she knew
She wasn't this lively girl I thought
I concluded her entire being from moments I enjoyed
Right now, I think it isn't too early to head to court
Family will talk but for a while
Friends will gist till the news dies
But I will never decide a wife from the external
Cause everything external can be put up only for a short time
Hmmn.
